Free food and drink vans are to be deployed across Cumbria in response to Storm Arwen.
Electricity North West has deployed vans to the below locations from 9am today:
- Coniston sports and social centre – Shepherds Bridge Lane, Coniston, LA21 8AL
- Nenthead – Land to the south-east of Wright Bros Coaches, Alston, CA9 3NP
- Ambleside – Waterhead Inn, Lake Road, Ambleside, LA22 0ER
The electricity supplier is working with local resilience forums on the ground to dispatch more vans and it will provide updates throughout the day.
