Institutional Property Advisors (IPA), a division of Marcus & Millichap (NYSE: MMI), announced that Jordan Ray has joined Institutional Property Advisors (IPA). Ray is joined by Matthew Polci, a senior originator and Steven Buchwald, who heads execution for the team, which includes James Matheny and Lexington Henn.

Ray, recognized as one of the top originators in the United States, joined Mission Capital Advisors and founded the Debt and Equity group in 2009, and joined Marcus & Millichap as part of the Mission Capital acquisition in 2020. For the past 20 years, Ray has been an industry- leading capital markets originator. Since 2011, he and his team closed more than $9 billion of financing transactions.
Ray has been honored with several industry awards, such as the Real Estate Finance and Investment Magazine – Mortgage Broker of the Year Award and the NYU Schack Institute Financing Deal of the Year. Prior to joining Mission Capital, he served as Managing Director at Ackman-Ziff Real Estate Group, where he completed over $2 billion of closed debt, mezzanine and preferred equity and joint venture equity transactions. Ray holds a master’s degree in real estate finance from New York University, and a bachelor’s degree in finance from American University.
