Move over Mills and Boon, the hot scientists are in the house, and they’re lusty and brainy.

Neuroscientist Ali Hazelwood’s first rom-com novel The Love Hypothesis has become an instant New York Times bestseller.

As a professor she has plenty of peer reviewed science papers under her belt, but in those “no one makes out and the ever after is not always happy”.

So, naturally, she turned to romance. And she writes about the world she knows — the underbelly of university science.

But how close to the bone is she prepared to go as she dives into love, lust, lab life, and the difficult power dynamics in science?

Guest:

Ali Hazelwood

Neuroscientist and professor
Rom-com novelist
Author of The Love Hypothesis (Berkley Books 2021, Australia through Hachette)
and Love on the Brain (forthcoming, late August 2022, Hachette)
