West Yorkshire technology company FOD Mobility Group has made a senior appointment.
Penny Healy has been brought in as product director in charge of developing its MaaS (mobility as a service) application Mobilleo.
Healy brings more than ten years of experience to the Saltaire-based tech company, having previously held various senior management positions in the travel sector.
During her previous role as senior app product manager at easyJet, she introduced various optimisation improvements and innovations that led to a 40 per cent year-over-year increase in app revenue.
In her new role as Mobilleo product director, Healy will be developing and owning the product roadmap for Mobilleo, establishing priorities for the product development teams, and working closely with the sales teams to manage workflows.
Penny Healy said: “I was approached about the position by FOD’s Chief Technology Officer Simon Lamkin, who I’d previously worked with at easyjet. I could see that he was genuinely passionate about the company, and the Product Director opportunity sounded like the perfect fit for my skills, experience, and personality.
“Since I joined the business, I’ve discovered such a warm and welcoming team, made up of truly authentic people who believe in the company and its direction. It’s a privilege to be part of something with such growth potential and great leadership and I’m thrilled to be part of the FOD journey.”
Justin Whitston, chief executive and founder at FOD Mobility Group, added: “I am delighted to welcome Penny into this exciting new role where she will be defining the strategic vision and product roadmap for Mobilleo. Penny’s background in developing customer centric apps will be fundamental to the future development and internationalisation of the platform.”
